The ACQ16PCI is full length PCI intelligent data acquisition board providing a choice of:

  • 16 channels of simultaneous Analog Inputs at 1.25 MHz
  • 8 channels at 3 MHz
  • 4 channels at 6 MHz
  • 2 channels at 10 MHz


The board offers 14 bit resolution with excellent AC characteristics with truly simultaneous sampling using multistage pipelined flash converters. Differential input option. The board also includes 8 general purpose Digital I/Os and an addressable 16 bit bus for control of external modules. The ACQ16PCI is an Intel StrongARM™ based board with up to 128 MBytes of onboard sample storage offering deep transient recording capability. The board offers pre and post trigger capture modes either from a digital trigger or from an analog level trigger from one of the analog inputs. The board also offers a Master DMA mode for low latency data acquisition directly into host memory, as well as high throughput streaming across the PCI bus. Digital Clock and Trigger inputs are available on the front panel.
